We’ve had a great response to our coverage in the magazine and online of Canicross, the growing sport that involves running with your dog(s).

Just as with any sport, there are different levels of participation and competition. Canicross is no different, except, the level at which you train and compete also depends on the ability and the enjoyment of your canine running buddy.

You don’t have to already be a runner to get started in Canicross and running with your dog could be the perfect introduction to the sport for both of you. You can simply enjoy training with your dog and not compete at all.

For those of you who have seen the Canicross features and would like to get started but you’re not sure how to safely introduce it to your dog, we have teamed up with Steve Mann, Founder of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers who will share his expertise.

We’ll bring you videos and ideas from Steve Mann, one of the world’s leading dog trainers, over the coming weeks and help you and your dog to get involved with all things Canicross.
