There are so many elements to this swimsuit, we couldn’t wait to take it for a spin at the local swimming pool.
On first impressions, this seems like a high-end suit, the fabric is clearly high quality in appearance as well as feel, and the black/gold colourway looks super-stylish. But the value of this suit goes a lot deeper than that. Getting it on is really easy with the detachable straps. And once they’re secured, along with the internal built-in support, you look great (no saggy boobs!) and it really just manages to ‘fit’ everywhere. The leg’s not too high cut and not too low cut and the racer-style back allows for ease of movement – so far so good.
When you’re actually swimming, there’s no shifting or pinching and it’s quite stretchy, so no restrictive feeling. You know that moment after a swim when your skin has turned into rubber and you can’t slide your suit across it for love nor money? Not a thing with the Siskin – the detachable straps come back into play and you can simply peel it off – the fabric just lets you, with no resistance. Add to all this the fact that it’s made from a recycled yarn and is chlorine resistant for durability and we can’t find a single reason not to add it to your crosstraining shopping list!
