Places are now available for the Age UK Leeds Abbey Dash 2018, which will see thousands of runners take to the streets of Leeds on Sunday 4th November to raise funds that will make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable older people.

Now in its 33rd year, the Age UK Leeds Abbey Dash has become a record-breaking course – popular with fun-runners, celebrities and elite athletes alike, the flat course is known for achieving Personal Bests. 2017 saw athlete Eilish McColgan break the female 10K course record, completing the course in an impressive 32 minutes and 5 seconds. Age UK is now calling on first-time runners as well as experienced runners to sign up.

When: Sunday 4th November 2018
Where: Leeds City Centre
Distance: 10k event for adults (ages 15+) and 2k ‘Junior Dash’ event for 8 – 14 year olds

The course:  Flat and fast, ideal for first time and experienced runners
Registration fee: Earlybird rate is £23* (£21 UKA affiliated) valid until 31st July. Thereafter, registration is £26* (£24 UKA affiliated)

The Junior Dash is £8* to enter (ages from 8-14 years). All finishers will receive a limited edition Age UK Leeds Abbey Dash 2018 t-shirt and medal. Entry for the Junior Dash o2k opens on 1st June.

The Elite Wheelchair race is also open for registration. The earlybird rate is also £23* and then £26 after 31st July.
