Now in its 11th year, the Limassol Marathon in Cyprus attracts 13,000 participants annually, who come, en masse, to take advantage of the enjoyable route and great weather; a race for all abilities.
What sets this event apart from the rest is its range of races available to those wishing to take part; from the 10k Petrolina energy race, to the more challenging half marathon. Even the little ones can enjoy feeling involved, by having a go at the 1k kids’ race, which takes place on 18 March 2017.
For those wishing to get a glimpse of the area, signing up for the 5k city run should offer plenty of sightseeing action to international visitors. And elite athletes also stand to benefit from an increased prize fund, with double winnings for any records broken.
